What to say about Emily when there is so much!! Probably my fondest memory of Emily also involves Clark and Nolan. When I first came off my mission, I was a little awkward to say the least. There are many who would agree with that!! But no matter how weird I was, every night you guys would invite me over to watch movies and play games and over time help me achieve the impossible and return to a state of normality. Oh the nights that were filled with cribage!! How good we got and now there is no one that wants to play!! I will always be grateful for those times because they meant so much to me. Other than that, I've always been impressed with the willingness of Emily to help in whatever capacity she can. She doesn't even think about it, she does it!! I have always admired that about her. That and how sensitive she is of other people. Those are just a few of a very long list of attributes. Happy Birthday Emily!!! We Love You!!!! ---Ethan


Alright so you may not feel like I know you that well, but I have come to love you in the short time I've known you. You are one of the funniest people I have ever met. Your blog cracks me up every time- I envy the creativity and wit. You really are an adorable girl! You have been so willing to help with anything Ethan or I have needed. I really have appreciated how even though I am not part of the family yet you have made me feel at home. Your girls are absolutely adorable and I think they get it from such a gorgeous mom (not saying the Scharman genes aren't adorable). I hope you have a great birthday and that you get treated to a day all about you, because every other day you treat everyone like it's all about them. ---Marisa
