I admire how she is creative. I think all of the Oscarson women inherited good taste and crafty hands from Mo.
One of the things I like about Emily is that she is so easy to be with. She is friendly, nice and fun. I feel like she is always there and open for me if I need someone to talk to. I really enjoyed visiting her home when we lived in Texas. I got a bonus for marrying Spencer. She is the older sister I always wanted to have. (SPENCER) Emily has not only been a great friend and easy going sibling, but a great example to me every step of my life. Her attitude towards things like school and work made it easier for me to make good decisions. Her excitement about my hobbies and interests have always been a huge encouragement to me. That encouragement lead me to seek for her advice and her opinion more than she probably recognizes. Emily's attitude and example as a mother and spouse has been a constant support to Sho and I. She just makes life seem not just doable, but enjoyable.
Emily may not realize it, but the daily visits and conversations while playing games over at their house the summer of 2005 were a huge part of helping me find the courage to propose to Sho. Without Emily's example and friendship, I wouldn't be who I am.
